Category Color Description

Rendering Window

Red —

The volume rendering will be displayed within this region above the user interface controls (image above). Region is multi-touch compatible and affects the orientation of the rendered volume.

Orientation

Pink  —

Icons are used to align the volume rendering to predefined profile orientations or to rotate the volume about the display center.

Clipping Plane

Blue —

Icons are used to hide or reveal regions of the volume rendering using custom or predefined clipping planes.

Image Adjustment

Green —

Icon is used to switch the rendering types, adjust Brightness and Contrast settings, modify volume rendering settings, and hide or reveal digital surface models that may be present in the scan.

Customization and

Application Toolbar

White —

Icons are used to display custom information (Annotations) or jump to previously defined view states (ViewSequencer). Users can also access the Application Toolbar to open new cases or minimize the application.

Controlling Volume Rendering

Within the Rendering Window, the Table application accepts the following inputs with the associated responses:

Rotate

 

Rendering will rotate about the scanning region’s geometric center point. Rotations will be about the X and/or Y axis.

(Settings > X Rotate and Y Rotate enabled)

 

Two

 

Drag

 

Pan

 

Rendering will pan in the dragged direction. (Settings > Pan enabled)

 

Pinch

 

Zoom In/Out

 

Rendering will become larger or smaller. (Settings > Zoom enabled)

 

Rotate

 

Spin

 

Rendering will rotate about the scanning region’s geometric center point. Rotation will be about the Z axis.
