At the age of fifteen Judy's work was included in an exhibit at the Modern Art Museum of Ft. Worth. The artists of the famous Fort Worth School were her instructors from the eighth grade until graduation through a special scholarship program. Among her mentors were Emily Guthrie Smith, Bror Utter, Dickson Reader, and Eveline Sellors. That unique early training is envied by others who wish to emulate Judy's 44 years as a professional artist.
"Judy Sager is a treasure within the North Texas Community. Not only is she a talented artist and gifted teacher, she also has the rare ability to discern excellence in the works of art as a juror."
