Question?

Where do I find information about the CAP pre-matriculation summer workshops?

Answer:

http://www.hsc.unt.edu/education/tcom/summerworkshops/TCOMSummerWorkshops

or by calling the CAP office at 817.735.2531

Question?

Are the workshops open to all students at UNTHSC?

Answer:

The biochemistry and TCOM PREP workshops are designed and open to all incoming TCOM students.

The anatomy workshop is designed by anatomy faculty and current students and open to all incoming DO, DPT, and PA students.

The physiology workshop is designed specifically for and open to all incoming PA students.

Question?

Can I enroll in more than 1 workshop?

Answer:

Yes. Schedules do not conflict.

DO students may register for all three workshops- biochem, anatomy, & PREP without any conflicts.

PA students may register for both physiology and anatomy without any conflicts.

Question?

Is there a limit to how many students can register for the workshops? If I don’t register right away, will I still get a spot?

Answer:

Registration is a first-come first-served process. All workshops are capped at 160 registrants. Once we reach the registration cap, we will add students to a wait list. Payment and registration must be complete by June 26th at 5 pm.  We encourage you to register and pay as soon as you can to secure a place in a workshop.

Question?

Do these workshops count for course credit?

Answer:

No. These workshops are designed and taught by current students to help incoming students get ahead.
