Student Grand Rounds

Student Grand Rounds:

First year medical students are divided into groups of 15 students and are assigned a complex geriatrics cases from the New England Journal of Medicine. A geriatrics Division faculty member works with the students in preparing the case presentation and an additional Geriatrics faculty member assists with a question and answer session during the presentation.


Students present the case via a power point presentation to the whole class at Grand Rounds and all students are given the opportunity to participate through a question and answer session.
