Ordering Regalia

Regalia should be ordered through Herff Jones no later than April 1st. After this date, the site will be closed and you must contact a representative directly and will be assessed a late charge. When ordering, be sure to click on University of North Texas Health Science Center and then follow the prompts. You will need to pay by credit/debit card.

Announcements, Rings, Diploma Frames

Class rings, announcements and diploma frames are available through Herff Jones. A portion of the proceeds comes back to UNTHSC to help support Student Scholarships.

Cap and Gown Pick-Up

Faculty regalia will be distributed to individual offices the week of May 6th.

Graduate regalia will be available for pick-up 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday, May 13th through Wednesday, May 14th. If you are unable to come during the scheduled time, please send a representative. Gowns will not be available for pick-up on Thursday or Friday. All gowns MUST be returned immediately following the ceremony. Please plan to take photos before your designated start time.

Ceremony

Graduates are responsible for bringing their regalia, including cap, gown, and hood. Extra caps, tassles, gowns and hoods will not be available at the ceremony site.

Professional attire is required. Shorts, sandals and low cut or short dresses are not appropriate. Decoration of caps is not permitted. Please be respectful of the importance of the ceremony and remember, this is family-friendly event.

Graduates should check with their academic program to determine when they should arrive.

Do not bring any personal items with you (ie. cell phones, purses). There will be no area for those items to be left. UNTHSC will not be responsible for any lost/stolen items.

Under NO circumstance are food, drinks, balloons, confetti, silly string, glitter, or any spray materials allowed in the auditorium. This violates our contact with the venue and those involved will be subject to penalty.

The doors to auditorium will open 30 minutes before the ceremony start time. Please be aware that there are multiple ceremonies that day and staff will need time between each ceremony to clean and prepare for the next. Please inform your guests not to arrive any earlier as they will be required to wait outside.

All gowns MUST be returned immediately following the ceremony. Please plan to take photos before your designated start time.

Parking

The parking at Will Rogers Memorial Auditorium is managed through Standard Parking. Parking is $8 and guests are encouraged to bring cash (exact change) in order to assist with traffic flow.

Handicap parking is available throughout the complex. Parking rates apply to all vehicles.

Seating

With the exception of TCOM, no tickets will be necessary for entry into this event. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Handicap seating is available.

TCOM graduates will be notified prior to April first regarding how to claim their tickets. Each graduate is allotted 12 tickets. Graduates who do not need all their tickets will have an opportunity to place their extra tickets in to a pool that is first-come, first-served. Diplomas

Diplomas, with the exception of School of Public Health, will be available for pick-up following the ceremony.
School of Public Health graduates will receive theirs at a later date. More information is to follow.
