Meet Jennifer Treviño
As Vice President of Administration and Chief of Staff to the President, Ms. Trevino directs the staff of the Office of the President and the Office of Faculty Affairs. She also serves as liaison between the President and his direct reports, often working with campus leaders to solve problems and address issues before they escalate to the President. In addition to being involved in special projects, she works closely with the newly established UNT System Human Resources to support the needs of employees and managers on campus, providing leadership in the development and execution of the strategic plans of the UNTHSC.
Since joining the organization in March 2007, Jennifer has served in several roles, including Administrative Director for the Health Institutes of Texas, Director of the Office of Faculty Affairs, and Acting Chief of Staff. Prior to joining the Health Science Center, she was a Product Marketing Manager for RadioShack Corp. and in store management and retail operations with HEB Grocery. She holds an MBA from the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University.
Jennifer is an active member of several organizations including the Fort Worth Chapter of the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas, the Arts Council of Fort Worth and Tarrant County, the Fort Worth Library Advisory Board and Leadership Fort Worth, Class of 2009. In 2010, she was honored by being named to the "40 Under 40" class by the Fort Worth Business Press, and in 2012, she was recognized as one of the Most Powerful and Influential Women by the Texas Diversity Council.
