LaTarra "LT" Moore, MHA

Enrollment Services Assistant

LaTarra “LT” Moore earned her A.S. degree in Chemistry from Garden City Community College in Garden City, Kansas and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. She later on completed her Master of Healthcare Administration from Kaplan University and completed courses toward her Master of Business Administration as well.

Before joining the Registrar’s Office in November 2014, LaTarra worked in Higher Education in the proprietary sector in which she excelled in many different roles, the latter being a Career Services Advisor. Her daily encounter with students of various backgrounds and socio-economic statuses fueled her desire to help others appreciate education and help them achieve their career goals.

Emily Rhodes, MS

Enrollment Services Assistant

Emily Rhodes received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in classical guitar from Abilene Christian University and a Master of Science in Library & Information Science from the University of North Texas.

Before joining the Office of the Registrar 2012, Emily worked primarily in academic libraries. She enjoys learning about the technical side of data management and has created several improvements to processes. Her current role focuses on grade and enrollment processing, website design, and other technical and data related projects within the office.

Janice Villarreal

Janice Villarreal received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

Before joining the Office of the Registrar at UNTHSC in 2010, Janice worked in the Office of the Registrar at TAMUCC staring in 2007. She has worked with a variety of student populations, including undergraduates and graduate students. Her current role focuses on conferring degrees, printing diplomas and certificates, USMLE and COMLEX board scores, program and plan changes, and other projects within the office. She enjoys helping students reach their academic and personal goals.

Sloan White received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Editorial News Writing and a Master of Education in Higher Education with a specialization in Administration from the University of North Texas.

Before joining the Office of the Registrar in 2009, Sloan worked in the field of finance. She assists with reporting to state and federal agencies; advises on policies and procedures to ensure the university is compliant on matters related to students, faculty and staff; oversees aspects of matriculation, enrollment, grading and graduation; and also serves as the Veteran Affairs Certifying Official. She enjoys working with data and finding new ways for the Registrar’s Office to run more efficiently and effectively, as well as supporting our student veteran population.

Meagan Cross, MA

Meagan Cross received her Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Midwestern State University and went on to complete a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Meagan has a diverse background in higher education, having also worked in Financial Aid, Academic Support, and International Student Services. She is responsible for federal enrollment reporting, assisting faculty and staff with data compilation, FERPA regulation enforcement, and maintaining our campus’ many Academic Calendars. While she has made several moves within the Division of Student Affairs over the years, focusing on the ability to positively impact a student’s experience here has always been her goal. As a first-generation college student, she strives to ensure students have all the resources they may need while navigating our campus, and that they see a smiling face along the way.
