Group Exercise Schedule

*Must be FAC member to participate in any group exercise class*

*No one under the age of 16 is allowed in the Founders' Activity Center under any circumstances (Includes use of outdoor basketball court)*

While we make every effort to avoid class substitutions and cancellations, please note that all class formats and times are subject to change without notice based on instructor availability.

The FAC group exercise room may be blocked without notice for Office of Health Promotion programming.

During group exercise classes, only participants are to be in the room.

Class Descriptions

Boot Camp

A class that will transform your physique and your performance. Boot camp combines strength training, speed and agility drills, fitness games and more. It's catered to all levels, so you get a challenge no matter your current fitness level. This class is an outdoor seasonal, fee based class and requires registration. The next session will begin in late September. To sign up, contact Chelsea Barron at chelsea.barron@unthsc.edu.

TurboKick

An action-packed workout that combines a series of punching and kicking combinations. This class improves strength, muscle tone and endurance. An intense workout for the participant who wants a challenge.

Turbo HIIT

This High Intensity Interval Training class uses the anaerobic drills from TurboKick to give you a short but effective cardio workout!

ABC's

This class combines core and leg strength training exercises with cardio intervals to torch calories while you tone and tighten your lower body and torso!

PiYo

A unique combination of Pilates, Yoga, strength conditioning, flexibility and dynamic balance. Learn movements that elongate muscles, strengthen the core, release tension and improve posture.

Zumba

Inspired by traditional cumbia, salsa, samba and merengue music, Zumba is a combination of Latin rhythms and red-hot international dance steps. Zumba is Spanish slang for "to move fast and have fun." The goal is simple: work out, love working out, get hooked and have fun.
