Winter Break Workouts

Below you will find a series of workouts that can all be completed using only your body weight! Pick and choose workouts at your convenience.  Not sure how to complete one of the exercises listed? Turn to Google or YouTube for a great description!

Workout 1: Repeat circuit 3-4 times

  • 20 body weight squats
  • 10 pushups
  • 20 walking lunges
  • 30 second plank
  • 30 jumping jacks

Workout 2: Repeat circuit 2-3 times

  • 15 push-ups
  • 10 single leg squats (each leg)
  • 20 body weight squats
  • 20 walking lunges
  • 15 push-ups
  • 20 squat jumps
  • 20 calf raises
  • 15 push-ups
  • 60 second plank

Workout 3: Perform each exercise for 40 seconds; rest 20 seconds between each exercise. Repeat entire circuit 2-4 times.

  • mountain climbers
  • squat jumps
  • jumping jacks
  • burpees
  • push-ups
  • high knees

Workout 4: Repeat circuit 2-3 times

  • 15 burpees
  • 15 reverse lunges (each leg)
  • 20 high knees
  • 15 sumo squats
  • 15 push-ups
  • 60 second wall sit
  • 20 v-ups

Workout 5: Repeat circuit 3-4 times

  • 15 push-ups
  • 15 squats
  • 20 calf raises
  • 15 superman
  • 30 bicycle crunches
  • 30 Russian twists
  • 30 mountain climbers
  • 60 second plank
  • 60 second wall sit
  • 60 second isometric bridge

Workout 6: Perform each exercise for 40 seconds; rest 20 seconds between each exercise. Repeat entire circuit 2-4 times.

  • squat jumps
  • lunge jumps
  • star jumps
  • tuck jumps (advanced)
  • Johnny C's (or plank to push-up)
  • side plank (each side)

Modified Version:

  • squats
  • lunges
  • jumping jacks
  • squat with a knee raise
  • Johnny C's (or plank to push-up)
  • side plank (each side)

 Workout 7: Repeat circuit 5 times for a total of 100 reps of each exercise

  • 20 push-ups
  • 20 squats
  • 20 jumping jacks
  • 20 lunges
  • 20 sit-ups

Workout 8:  Perform each exercise for 40 seconds; rest 20 seconds between each exercise. Repeat entire circuit 2-4 times.

  • running in place
  • high knees
  • jumping jacks
  • mountain climbers
  • front kicks
  • burpees
  • squat jumps
