Membership Rates

*Effective September 1st, 2013, the Founders' Activity Center membership classification system and pricing changed to the format listed below.*

Faculty & Staff

Definition: Anyone verified by the Office of Human Resources as holding a faculty or staff appointment at the UNT Health Science Center.*

Fee: $10 per person per month

Documents Required for Sign-up: Waiver, Standards of Conduct, and Payroll Deduction Form. 

How Fees are Paid: Via UNTHSC Payroll Deduction or 1 year in full (cash or money order). If choosing payroll deduction, employee commits to at least 3 months of membership before termination can be accepted.

*Individuals designated as holding a "volunteer" position on campus do not qualify for this membership rate and will fall under our Community Member category.

All membership dues are paid via cash and money order only; Checks and debit/credit cards are not accepted.

Community Members

Definition: Individuals, ages 16yrs or older, who are otherwise eligible for membership.

Packages Available:

3 months: $60*

6 months: $120*

9 months: $170*

12 months: $210*

*During initial sign-up, there is a one-time ID badge fee of $10.

Documents Required for Sign-up: Waiver, Standards of Conduct, and current driver's license.

How Fees are Paid: Members select one of the membership packages listed above and pay their fee directly to the FAC. All membership fees are paid via cash or money order only; Checks and debit/credit cards not not accepted.

Alumni & UNTHSC Faculty/Staff Retirees

Definition: Anyone verified with the Office of the Registrar of Human Resources as having received a degree from the UNT Health Science Center or retired from UNTHSC.

Packages Available:

3 months: $30*

6 months: $60*

9 months: $90*

12 months: $120*

*One-time $10 ID badge fee applies during initial membership sign-up as old UNTSHC student/employee ID badges are no longer valid after graduation.

Documents Required for Sign-up: Waiver, Standards of Conduct, and current driver's license.

How Fees are Paid: Members select one of the membership packages listed above and pay their fee directly to the FAC. All membership fees are paid via cash or money order only; Checks and debit/credit cards are not accepted.

Month-to-Month Option

Definition: Anyone who is interested in membership at the Founders' Activity Center on a purely month-to-month basis.

Fee: $30 per month

Documents Required for Sign-up: Waiver, Standards of Conduct, and current driver's license.

How Fees are Paid: Members who are paying month-to-month will pay the $30 fee via cash or money order only; Checks and debit/credit cards are not accepted.


All Founders' Activity Center members are required to have an ID Badge. The $10 ID Badge fee is a one-time charge, unless the ID Badge is lost. All replacement badges are an additional $10 per replacement badge.
