The Department of Physician Assistant Studies provides an exemplary graduate-level education with a focus on primary care and meeting the health needs of underserved populations.

The Department of Physician Assistant Studies is affiliated with the School of Health Professions and is ranked in the top 35 graduate-level physician assistant programs in the nation by U.S. News and World Report.

Graduates receive a Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree. The MPAS program is accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant
