On-Boarding

We welcome all of you "our new employees" to the University of North Texas (UNT) Health Science Center (HSC) and UNT Health. As part of our orientation process we require that every new employee complete the material listed below. If you have any questions please refer to the Checklist, your supervisor, or HR to answer any questions you may have. Again, welcome and we are pleased that you are part of our team!!

** On the first day of employment you must come to HR (EAD 280) to complete your required paperwork. Please bring with you proper identification. **

New Employee Affidavit Policy ** New employee is required to read and acknowledge this policy

Mandatory Employee Notices ** Required reading material for ALL new employees

New Employee Orientation (NEO) Schedule and NEO Agenda ** New employee must attend the next orientation from their date of hire

New Employee On-Boarding Checklist ** ALL new employees must complete and provide to their supervisor the completed New Employee On-Boarding Checklist

Supervisor On-Boarding Checklist ** Supervisors are required to complete the Supervisor On-Boarding Checklist

Required Trainings

EEO ** The EEO training is currently under revision.  You will be notified when it becomes available.

Computer Access Security ** Must be completed within first date of hire

Code of Ethics ** Must be completed within 3 days of hire date

Infection Control Training ** Must be completed within 5 days of hire date

HIPAA ** New employees will be enrolled in an online HIPAA course and will receive an email notification from the Office of Regulatory Compliance following Orientation.  Upon receipt of this email, you will access the course using this link.

Safety ** Must be completed within 5 days of hire date

Additional Trainings

Bio-Safety ** Required for LAB employees ONLY and must be completed within 3 days of hire date
