NMM Plus One

The  NMM Plus One (one-year) option is designed for a D.O. who has completed a residency in another medical specialty and wants to strengthen and build on your osteopathic skills and practice for use in your particular field. Your primary training will take special consideration of your unique needs while performing your hospital rotations, emphasizing patients in your specialty and the role OMM may play in their care.

Based at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, the NMM Plus One residency provides advanced educational and clinical facilities. Residents have full use of all library facilities including online access to the reserve collection of electronic journals. Access will also be available to residents while at community clinic sites. Clinical experiences obtained at both private community and academic health center facilities enable residents to treat a diverse population of patients. Residents have ready access to consultants from all clinical specialties where needed.
