Faculty Credentialing
Credentialing is required of all clinical and non-clinical faculty before employment at the health science center. There are two types of credentialing processes, which are detailed below.
Clinical Credentialing
All clinical faculty credentialing is processed through the Office of Health Care Quality & Risk Management (QM). Because credentialing can take anywhere from 60-90 days, it is critical to start the credentialing process as soon as the candidate has successfully completed the pre-hire screening process. Please work with the QM Office and the UNT Health Recruiter during the credentialing process. Once credentialing has been approved, you will receive notification via the credentialing approval letter from the QM Office.
