General information and requests about admissions, application status, scholarships, degree programs, and student services, Inquiry and submission of academic forms such as change of advisor/major professor, change of concentration, oral defense, and incomplete grade or grade extension.
Associate Director of Recruitment & Admissions
Oversees admissions process, student recruitment, Campus visits and Preview Day Events, New Student Orientation, pre-admission counseling, guidance related to incoming student degree requirements and academic deadlines/policies, initial course registration assistance, and course transfer approvals.
Chelsea Derry, M.Ed.
Coordinator of Academic Services
Coordinates the Public Health Practice Experience, Tuesday Interludes, and iWebfolio. Assists with professional development activities, such as Research Appreciation Day, Public Health Week and Pre-commencement. Also assists with enrollment management and academic policies and procedures.
Coordinator of Recruitment & Outreach
Coordinates student recruitment and outreach activities such as campus visits, preview days, student and professional group presentations. Engages alumni and current students in assisting with recruitment efforts. Assists in pre-admission counseling, application procedures and new student orientation.
Misty Smethers, M.A.E.
Assistant Director of Student & Academic Services
Oversees the enrollment management process, current student guidance/counseling, scholarships, academic policies and procedures, course scheduling and catalog, guidance related to degree requirements, course registration, and degree completion information. Professional development activities such as Research Appreciation Day (RAD), Public Health Week, pre-commencement ceremony and serves as liaison to the public health student organizations. Publication of weekly SPH FYI newsletter, and Tuesday Interlude.
