Career Services

The International Student Services Office assists about 150 International Students at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. These students make up about 10% of our student body, with the majority studying in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and the School of Public Health.

As an international student, in order to stay in the United States to achieve your academic goals, you must comply with immigration regulations. International Student Services is here to help you do that.

International Student Services assists international students navigate complex F1 immigration regulations as well as provide cultural and academic programming to help students adjust to a life in the United States.

International Student Services provides individual consultations, workshops, and written information to help international students comply with regulations. ISS conducts new student orientation for all new international students and also coordinates various intercultural programs and events year-round.

The UNT Health Science Center is required to comply with immigration regulations as well. International Student Services interacts with government offices to keep the UNT Health Science Center in compliance. Immigration is difficult and complicated. ISS is committed to helping students with the process.
